To ensure that you have the maximum protection for COVID-19 it is important that you have your third COVID-19 vaccination. COVID-19 vaccines can weaken over time, so some at-risk groups are now eligible for the Spring booster – which is an additional dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to give increased protection. If you fall into one of the following groups, you are now eligible:
The Spring booster vaccine can be given around six months (not before three months) since the last dose of COVID-19 vaccine was received.
Appointments are available through the national booking system and locally at sites across Tower Hamlets. Anyone can book online or call the council’s helpline for more information on 020 7364 3030.
