On 19 March, the renowned City University is hosting an online chat for anyone thinking of undertaking the BSc/ Graduate Diploma/ Post graduate Diploma/ MSc Public Health (district nursing, health visiting and school nursing) in September 2019.

Aimed at sharing more information about their PGDip Public Health (District Nursing, Health Visiting or School Nursing) course, the session will be run by academic staff, giving students the opportunity to ask questions about their chosen course at City, University of London. As it will be a typed chat group session, students will also be able to see the answers to questions asked by other attendees too.

At the GP Care Group, we are proud to support the drive to recruit the future workforce by sponsoring students to do the course through funding from Health Education England (HEE).

Jenny Gilmour, Clinical Director of Integrated 0-19 Services Health Visiting & School Health and Well-being, said: "We currently host three Health Visitors and two School Nurse SCPHN students! This is the specialist community public health nursing course that makes nurses into Health Visitors and qualified School Nurses! We encourage students considering these roles as a career to take the first step by signing up for the online chat."
