Our mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of Tower Hamlets residents through partnerships to provide excellent primary care and community health services, and we have a number of vacancies for the right candidates.

Health Visitor 

Are you a qualified, NMC registered, Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) Health Visitor or a student SCPHN Health Visitor, qualifying in the next few months? If the answer is yes, we would love to hear from you.

Family Nurse Partnership Supervisor 

Do you have the skills, knowledge or experience to support disadvantaged families with economic self-sufficiency while improving the delivery of antenatal health, child health and development outcomes. We are looking for a Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) Supervisor to lead and manage the work of family nurses and a quality support officer.

Family Nurse: 0-19 Service 

Are you registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council with a nursing, health visitor or midwifery qualification? We have an opening for Family Nurse with our 0-19 Service in Tower Hamlets. 

The successful recruit will join our Family Nurse Partnership (FNP), a highly regarded, dynamic team of family nurses who are passionate about their work with young parents and their families. 

You will deliver the FNP’s intensive, preventative home visiting programme to vulnerable, hard-to-reach young women who are expecting their first baby. You’ll need to develop high-level generalist and specialist skills to work within the clinical methods of the structured programme. 

You should also have knowledge of the public health agenda, in particular the healthy child programme, as well as sound knowledge and experience of safeguarding practices.

General Practice Nurse (GPN) Trainee 

The Care Group has a vacancy for a General Practice Nurse Trainee. The role is for a newly qualified or experienced nurse wishing to pursue a career in General Practice. 

The Care Group, in partnership with our local GP employers, are delighted to offer either a two year or 12-month fixed-term training post to the right candidate. 

The successful candidate will be working within a General Practice setting alongside studying at City University of London for a Post Graduate Diploma (PG Dip) in Practice Nursing. Alongside this they will be supported by our pioneering Nursing Development Open Doors clinical tutors.

Night Senior Care Navigator

Are you a current member of GP Care Group staff who understands the challenges of our Urgent Treatment Centre? We’re looking for someone to line manage a team of Care Navigators and be their first point of contact for HR issues.

Senior Care Navigator

This is another role to support our Urgent Treatment Centre. The successful applicant will be responsible for welcoming and working with patients in the Integrated Urgent Primary Care Service, so that they receive the most appropriate care, either from clinical staff, or by signposting to other services as appropriate.

Community Nursery Nurse 

Do you have an NNEB, a Diploma in Childcare & Education (CDE) or a Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Early Years (DEXECL)? If so, we are looking for someone with a sound understanding of child development and parenting, that can communicate with people from a wide range of social, economic and cultural backgrounds to apply for this role.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to work within our 0-19 Children's Universal Service. We are seeking the right candidate to be a Single Point Access (SPA) Supervisor for our 0-19 Children's Universal Service in Waltham Forest.

The postholder will have day-to-day responsibility for operational management of the admin side of the SPA.
