Our mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of Tower Hamlets residents through partnerships to provide excellent primary care and community health services, and we have a number of vacancies for the right candidates.

Health Visitor (0-19 Service Waltham Forest)

We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive practitioners with strong initiative and a passion for contributing to the continuous development of our service. You will work in close partnership with Children and Family Centres, schools, and other key agencies to ensure a holistic approach to care.

We have within Waltham Forest excellent opportunities within our 0-19 team for innovative and motivated Health Visitors who are keen to contribute to the further development of our service.

School Nurse (0-19 Service Waltham Forest)

Are you a qualified, NMC registered, Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) School Nurse or are a student SCPHN School Nurse, qualifying in the next few months?

EOTAS – School Nurse (0-19 Service Waltham Forest)

Are you a SCPHN qualified school nurse with 2 years clinical experience as a school nurse aspiring to take on a challenge and work with vulnerable children and young people in the borough of Waltham Forest?

The Education Other Than at School (EOTAS) nurse delivers the Healthy Child Programme in alternative provisions, colleges, Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) and Youth Offending Service.

Perinatal Psychology Therapist

This is a psychologically minded service with strong emphasis on reflective practice, attachment-based work, and borough-wide system integration. External clinical supervision will be provided via a recognised perinatal mental health provider.

The service has been recommissioned following a successful pilot year and has potential for further extension beyond March 2026.

Perinatal Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Band 6 Perinatal Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic, trauma-informed Parent-Baby Emotional Wellbeing (PBEW) Service in Waltham Forest.

The PBEW Service is a borough-wide triage and therapeutic holding service supporting families during pregnancy and the first two years postpartum. It offers early identification, emotional wellbeing support, and time-limited therapeutic work while clients are awaiting or transitioning into other pathways such as Talking Therapies, PPIMHS, or Family Hubs.

Head of Service (0-5 Service Tower Hamlet/0-19 Service Waltham Forest)

We have two exciting roles as Acting Head of Service overseeing 0-5 services in Tower Hamlets and 0-19 services in Waltham Forest. You will work closely with the Executive Director Service Delivery and Integration, commissioners and your teams to ensure safe and effective delivery of services, meeting contractual KPIs, and driving change and transformation for the service areas.

Bilingual Healthcare Advocate

We are a service that works with people from the ethnic minority communities and vulnerable groups in Tower Hamlets to help them access the services provided by GP Care Group through local General Practice (GPs), Community Nursing and Pharmacies. As part of Tower Hamlets GP Care Group, we work to improve positive consultation outcomes for patients, through acting as a bridge between patients who don't speak English and vulnerable groups and the services that provide primary health care.
