COVID-19 Mobile Vaccination Bus has launched in Tower Hamlets

Posted on: 11 January 2022

The GP Care Group is excited to announce that we’ve launched a new COVID-19 mobile vaccine bus outreach service, which had its wheels in motion yesterday (Tuesday 10 January).

Over the next few weeks, the mobile vaccine bus will pitch up to areas identified as having low take-up of the vaccines. The Monday to Saturday service, run by the GP Care Group ‘Roving Team’ and commissioned by Tower Hamlets Council has the capacity to deliver up to 200 vaccines per day. The service, which launched yesterday (10 January 2022), has hit the ground running, and today the team were up with the larks (4am!) at Billingsgate Market to serve the early morning traders and shoppers.

Where will the bus be located?
