Healthcare professionals invited to register for WeLearn #AllOurHealth 2019

Posted on: 28 January 2019

For the second year running, healthcare professionals can sign up to WeLearn - #AllOurHealth, a social media learning collaboration platform between @WeCommunities and Public Health England, to access the latest learning practices in health.

Between 4 February to 8 March 2019, health care professionals can sign up to register for bite-size courses and modules, all accessed via the #AllOurHealth hashtag, after signing up.

What is WeLearn #AllOurHealth?

It is an online framework for health professionals aimed at preventing illness, protecting health and promoting wellbeing, from the population, community, family and individual points of view. Also available will be a comprehensive set of materials to support practice.

Key aspects of #AllOurHealth include:

  • Learning OUT LOUD in an entirely virtual social media space
  • Short bursts of learning (15-20 minutes a day)
  • 4 ½ hour long Tweetchats and an hour long live stream during the course
  • All underpinned by a Twitter hashtag "#AllOurHealth".
WeLearn #AllOurHealth will embrace many types of social media: Twitter, YouTube, Podcasts, Twitter Storms, Steller Stories, Slide Shares, Blogs, Tweetchats and Infographics.
Participants can opt in and out of modules that are relevant to their practice. There will also be incentives like virtual badges, a CPD certificate at the end and a full library of resources to revisit.
