With the pandemic impacting our everyday lives we want to make sure that parents and young people are aware that we are still here to support them. During the national lockdown we are still here to care for babies, children and young people. The lockdown allows you to leave home to get medical care or treatment and we have created safe environments for you to access the care you need when you need it. If your child needs ongoing care, gets unwell and you don't know what to do or you need urgent and emergency care please don't hesitate to contact us. Call your GP or call 111 to get advice on what to do next. This leaflet sets out the signs to watch for and explains what care you need in different circumstances. Please feel free to share widely with your friends and across your networks.
There is also a range of information to help you cope during the pandemic including information about different services available to you, resources for families and young people to support your mental health and help you cope with bereavement. Please visit the East London HCP website as a first step to getting the support you need. This is a tough time for everyone and we want families and young people to stay safe, stay healthy and stay happy. We are here for you when you need us.
