We’re approaching the season of giving and so what better way to give than by supporting those who really need the help?
Care4Calais is appealing for regular donations to help keep refugees warm and dry this winter. The conditions refugees are having to endure are heart-breaking.
With the weather getting colder and wetter, refugees could really use warm coats and waterproof boots for the winter to reduce the risk of hypothermia. In Calais, other essentials, from food and water to tents and bedding, are in desperate need too.
One of Care4Calais’ key fundraising platforms, Virgin Giving, is about to close down. This means that the charity is set to lose 2,000 regular supporters, which is a disaster for refugees. If you do just one thing to help refugees, please consider making a regular donation to help Care4Calais plan immediately in emergency situations, such as the Dunkirk flooding last year.
