Who are Public Heath looking for?

Residents that have around three to four hours each month to spare and have an interest in providing advice on how best to communicate with our diverse residents.

Residents from a range of backgrounds, who are representative of the borough's population. The team would like to ensure that bilingual residents from Bangladeshi, African, Somali, Chinese backgrounds, LGBTQ+, people living in social housing, disabled people, women and men from a range of ages and religious beliefs are represented.

Participants should have an interest in good communication and preventing long-term conditions like diabetes, heart disease and lung disease.

Communication topics will include promoting healthy lifestyles, social connection, healthy eating, research, and community health programmes.
