A generous, anonymous donor has contributed £1,000 to support a key active lifestyle initiative being delivered by the Care Group in our community. The donor, who wishes to remain unnamed, has made the donation through their personal business, with the funds earmarked for the purchase of essential equipment for "Dr B's Exercise Club."
"Dr B's Exercise Club," led by local GP and healthy lifestyle champion, Dr Ballal Seddique, is a community-focused initiative aimed at promoting healthier lifestyles among residents and the local workforce. The club's activities, which include fitness and wellness programs, particularly target pre-diabetic men, offering them tailored support to prevent the onset of diabetes and improve overall well-being.
This donation will significantly bolster the club's resources, including equipment, allowing it to expand its offerings and make a greater impact on those who need it most. Dr Seddique expressed his gratitude for the support, noting that the contribution will enable the club to enhance its services and reach more individuals within the community.
