Sign the pledge against hate crime in Tower Hamlets

Posted on: 13 October 2020

National Hate Crime Awareness Week kicked off on Saturday 10 October and is until 17 October. The awareness week is a chance for us all to take a stand against hate crime. This type of criminal offence is where someone is targeted because of a perceived aspect of their identities such as disability, race or sexual orientation.

Work is picking up the pace to show that there is "No Place for Hate" in Tower Hamlets, and the Council is encouraging local organisations to sign up to the No Place for Hate pledge, and the GP Care Group wasted no time in signing up. Tower Hamlets Council is also encouraging sign-ups to their No Place for Hate (NPFH) Personal Pledges too.

Pledging is quick, easy, and free to do and the Care Group is encouraging all colleagues to sign up and make a personal pledge.

If you would like to take a stand against hate crime, please sign the personal pledge toward the drive to make Tower Hamlets No Place for Hate.
