The Care Group became Waltham Forest’s health visiting and school nursing provider last year, delivering the Healthy Child Programme in the borough.
More than 80 care group colleagues, including Board members, Executive team, service leads and frontline staff attended the party at the Leyton Cricket Grounds to discuss the highlights and challenges of the past year.
The service’s operational lead (interim) Carole Williams summed up the day’s sentiment by expressing her gratitude for the service. She said: “I just want to say thank you. You are the guys who go out and are on the ground, seeing the clients. Without you, we wouldn’t be here today. So, a big thank you once again.”
