E-learning for professionals working with children and young people health
The cultural competence e-learning tool is designed to support clinicians in the NHS to gain knowledge and understanding of the issues around culture and health; and how this might influence health care outcomes. There are three modules which take approximately 20-30 minutes each to complete.
The transformation Partners in Health and Care has developed guidance on disordered eating and a training directory suitable for a range of professional across the health and social care system.
The Healthy Weight Coach eLearning programme has been developed for colleagues who already engage and interact with people as part of their role and are interested in supporting people who want to prioritise their weight, health and wellbeing.
Care Group training
The Care Group also offer a range of training to support professionals working with children and families around infant feeding and child healthy weight.
- Motivational Interviewing
Motivational interviewing is an evidence-based, client-centred approach aimed at supporting others in deciding and making helpful changes in their lives. This course is delivered by the CEPN.

- UNICEF Baby Friendly Training “Breastfeeding and Relationship Building”
This course supports this implementation of the UNICEF Baby Friendly Standard. Each Breastfeeding and Relationship Building course addresses the specific learning and development needs required by different groups of staff.
