Ahead of the Easter bank holiday, the Care Group is encouraging people in Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest to prioritise their health by ordering repeat prescriptions early and stocking up on any medication for any existing health conditions.
Many health services close during the upcoming Bank Holidays but there are several options available every single day, including our GP Extended Access Hubs where you can still get appointments to see a GP or nurse, or the 24/7, 365 days per year GP Out of Hours provision for Tower Hamlets residents.
Tower Hamlets GP Care Group provides a number of health services in the borough, making it easier for residents to know where to turn for GP health services this Easter period.
When your usual GP practice is closed, you can access our same-day Primary Care Access Hub at Cable Street Health Centre by calling NHS 111.
Pharmacists can support with minor medical problems and a list of services that will be open during the long weekend can be found on the NHS London and the NHS Find a Pharmacy websites, which will be updated regularly to show the opening hours of local pharmacies over the bank holidays.
