
When your baby is born, you will remain in the care of your midwife for the first few days. After that time, you will be passed into the care of the Health Visiting team.
This visit will be offered between 10 and 14 days after birth, at your home. The Health Visitor will check with you and your baby, they will cover topics such as feeding, sleeping, safety, coping with becoming a parent, and welcoming the addition to your family. They will also check in with you about your physical and mental wellbeing.
You will receive an appointment letter and possible a text message on your phone reminding you of your appointment.
