Employee experience

Inclusive

We are a highly inclusive workplace. We have six peer forums covering different themes, issues and communities within our organisation, fostering inclusive conversations. In addition, we are an anti-racist organisation, enabling staff to tackle racism wherever and whenever they find it.

Wellbeing

Our wellbeing programme has a huge range of events, activities and services which allow our people to maintain and boost their wellbeing. Whether this is a wellbeing event in the community, a fitness session, or a nutrition workshop, there is something for everyone.

Listening

We regularly listen and act upon what our amazing colleagues tell us. A critical part of this is the annual Staff Survey, which guides how we improve the employee experience each year. On top of this, we carry out listening sessions to ensure our survey results are turned into meaningful action.

Learning and developing

We are here to help you succeed in your role. We have a new platform, BRIDGE, which provides all of our employees’ learning and development needs in a single, easily accessible place.

Giving back

Giving back to the community is part of who we are. This means many things, including being sustainable, buying local, and developing charity partnerships, particularly with organisations who boost residents’ health and wellbeing.
