All local health and care workforce have access to the Training Unit organised learning and development activities.

Over 5,000 health and care professionals in Tower Hamlets within primary, community and acute care have access to the Training Units’s organised learning and development activities. A list of programmes offered can be found below.

Our Aim

The mission of the Training Unit is to support the development of a community health and social care workforce to enable high-quality and sustainable integrated care.

The Training Unit model brings together health and social care service providers, community groups and education providers focused on enabling the development of learning communities i.e different parts of the health and social care workforce, patients, and the public systematically improving services by learning with and from each other.
