Care Group officially launches innovative new website

Tower Hamlets GP Care Group has launched a brand-new website with the aim of making its services easier to discover and engage with for local residents and healthcare professionals.

The website features a stunning new design which provides greater accessibility alongside an engaging user experience. All the Care Group’s services are laid out in a more structured and accessible way than on the previous site. Also included is improved careers information to encourage residents to start a healthcare career. Information about GP practices and the role of the Care Group in local healthcare has also been enhanced.

The website – www.gpcaregroup.org – is easy to navigate, with its design building directly upon feedback from service users.

Features include:

• Easy navigation and intuitive user experience

• A modern, vibrant design, with a strong community feel

• Efficient and effective layout of information, meeting stringent accessibility standards

• In-built translation tool to aid visitors for whom English is not their first language.

Community feedback suggested that key information on the Care Group’s previous website was difficult to find and the design was not intuitive. The new website responds directly to this valuable feedback, with all information available within two clicks. Further testing sessions with service users will take place in the coming weeks to ensure the website continues to respond to the diverse needs of the local community.
