The two-to-two-and-a-half-year review should be offered to all families as it provides a crucial opportunity to identify children needing extra support before they start school. Our Health Visiting teams in Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest complete these reviews.
Hamida Serdiwala-White, Interim Head of Health Visiting, said: “The two-to-two-and-a-half-year review is really valuable for children. It's a stage where there is rapid growth, especially in the areas of language, movement, behaviour and social skills.
“The review helps spot any concerns early when support makes the biggest difference. It provides parents or carers the expert advice on their child's progress and connects families to the right services and resources for their child's needs.”
